The following are issues or suggestions that have been or need to be discussed.

Infobox changes[]

All items should have the stacksize field. I've added a damage and armor field so those should be implemented in the respective equipment.

| stacksize = | damage = | armor =

There are enough unique fields that I think a separate equipment infobox may be a good way of handling it as doing so would also allow quick categorization of the pages as equipment and there may be more values which are equipment specific and should be reflected such as efficiency for tools like axes, pickaxes, hammers, and shovels. The base item infobox is so layed out because it eased the conversion from the raw game data. I've felt for a while that the fields should be reorganized and cleaned up to make displayed content nicer.
In any event I'd likely suggest some text formatting for those values and the addition of a check in the icon template for the type field. Here would be a demo of what I'd be suggesting:
Damage
999 Health
Type
Sword Sword icon

Languages[]

AgodashiUdon created a japanese version of the main page and should be added to the main page sidebar. https://graveyardkeeper.gamepedia.com/Graveyard_Keeper_Wiki/ja

There is also a German and Brazilian beginners guide. Previously each language was given a subcategory on the main page. I would be adverse to adding that content to the sidebar personally and would rather implement a languages category on the main page. Quadrapod (talk) 10:16, 20 August 2018 (UTC)

Quest[]

Quests need an individual page, but the problem is that the quests don't have names so we have to make one up. Individual quest page should contain all and detailed information. For the NPC page, the quest description should be very brief with link to individual quest page. However, without proper quest names, we are unable to make individual quest pages. Hopefully the developers could spare some time for some quest naming.

Quests page.

I tried this process previously using the game's naming convention for the quests on the NPC relationships tab but found the games method of organizing quests made it impractical. The start and end of a quest is in many cases not clearly defined. For example does "Make sure the Inquisitor isn't looking for Gerry" end when you talk to the inquisitor or does it instead continue into the quest of talking to the inquisitor next Wrath. Quests just often lack clear names and states and often contain icons which translate poorly to page titles. If we come up with our own names it's likely users will have difficulty following the content. I feel an organizational approach for those ambiguous situations might be a necessity before attempting to organize quests in that way again. I would like to mention though as an administrator my say in matters like this should not be held in higher regard than any other editor. I'm simply reflecting on the experience from when last I tried to solve this issue. At present quest information is a mess I'd like to see resolved I'm simply uncertain how best to do so and the intuitive approaches all seem to have large associated issues. Images Category[]

In the wiki maintenance page there are the Category:Image requested with 75 pages and Category:Images needing improvement which uses the {{reupload}} template with just 1 file. Most of the pages with the image requested template have a note saying that it needs a better infobox icon which should instead include the needing improvement template. Currently, the best way to find out if an image needs to be uploaded is to look at the Category:Pages with broken file links. However, this is actually be better because broken file links could include a broken link to the image as well as other broken links on the page, so you kill two birds with one stone.

My reasoning for using Category:Image requested was that most of the infobox images are by default scaled up version of the item sprites and I didn't want people uploading new versions over those as it would effect the item templates themselves. Rather I was looking for new images which showed something about the workstation. For example Anvil has an image I'd consider more appropriate of an infobox. Headers for Long Lists (Level 4 Header)[]

Because this game is heavily reliant on the wiki, I was thinking of ways for the user to find information more efficiently. A lot of the pages contain lists, so when someone clicks on a link, I would love it if clicking the link would direct them exactly to what they were looking for. This is achieved through the PageName#SectionName link, but it's only for headers so it doesn't work for items in lists. I want the person to go straight to the item itself, not the header. Below is a proof of concept idea I thought of- wrapping the name as a header inside the cell. I used the level 4 header, because it seems like that's the farthest I could go so that the text doesn't look beefy next to the description. The first row is what it originally looked like from the Achievements page. The second and third row are proposed compositions.

Unfortunately, it's not very usable as is due to the edit button appearing next to the header and making it look weird. However, I did a big of research and there may be a way to set a maximum section edit level? Apparently DokuWiki has this, but I don't know if Gamepedia would have this.

I actually just done that to the the effects page (for example : Effects#Speed, or Speed)

You just have to put

where you want the anchor (change speed by whatever you want as long as it is unique in the page). User:Kumitz 16:43, 16 January 2023 (UTC)

Level 3 Header[]

For pages with many quests, I've noticed that the level 3 headers and normal text are a little difficult to distinguish as shown in Ms. Charm's Quests page. Perhaps the style of the header can be changed so that it's more distinguishable between the header and the text? or maybe even placing an image next to the header like I did in my project section.

Vendor to Best of GK Wiki[]

I just found out we have a Vendor page. Should that be added to the main page and the sidebar Best of GK Wiki?
